1998 Rainforest Patchwork

The theme is “Rainforest”.
23 students of STUDIO INDIGO volunteered their labour.  They designed and constructed a small copper foiled panel to contribute to an outdoor screen measuring 1200 x900
The work can be viewed at the entrance to the TREAT information centre at the Lake Eacham Nursery, McLean Street, Yungaburra

2000 Art Gallery Sign

18 volunteers worked on elements of the leadlight panel adorning the entrance of the Foyer Gallery in the Council building in Mabel Street, Atherton

2003 Sharing the Creek

Over 3 weekends students and members of the public gathered to acquire new skills in glass fusing and sandblasting.  The resulting glass pieces were assembled into three leadlight panels, that are installed into a shop front window. The work can be seen in the Tableland Shire Information Centre, Main Street, Atherton.

2006 Mandala Project

60 Tableland enthusiasts between the ages 8 and 80 joined forcem to create 110 glass mandalas in avariety of techniques … mosaic, copperfoil, leadlight, etching.  These mandalas were assembles into a 12m long leadlight frieze  and installed into the Council function room on top of Halloran’s Hill in Atherton.

2008 Rainforest Floor

 Twenty-five volunteers gathered for 3 weekend workshops at STUDIO INDIGO.   A 6m x3 m ceramic floor mosaic was prepared over 2 weekends and then laid into place at the entrance to the Tolga Bat Hospital, Carrington Road, Atherton.
